The Information We Collect
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the website, through social media platforms, or otherwise. We collect the information that you provide us. The categories of personal information collected at these pages are:
- Email address
- Phone number
- Device and browser information
To enable features on the site, we may assign one or more “cookies” to your Internet browser. Cookies, among other things, speed navigation through the site, keep track of information so that you do not have to re-enter it each time you visit the site, and may provide you with customized content. A cookie is an Internet mechanism composed of a small text file containing a unique identification number that permits a web server to send small pieces of information or text by means of your browser and place them on your computer’s hard drive for storage. Cookies by themselves cannot be used to find out the identity of any user.
The Way We Use Information
You can register with our website if you would like to receive information and updates on our company and job opportunities. Information you submit on our website will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out the applicable form.
We use the information you provide about yourself to respond to inquiries you make about the company, and to comply with applicable law and industry standards. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that process and provide other functionality of our website. Your information might be accessed by trusted third parties who contract with us to provide data management and other services; all such vendors agree to maintain the security and confidentiality of users’ information. We also may release your information when necessary to comply with applicable law or to enforce our site policies.
We use return email addresses to answer the emails we receive. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about our company. Email addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties except as otherwise described in this policy.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information obtained from users to better design and operate our website, but we will not disclose anything that could be used to identify those users.
In order to accommodate changes in our business, we may sell portions of our company, including the information collected through the site. Your personal information may be one of the assets transferred to the acquirer.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above, without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
Our Commitment to Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
How You Can Access or Correct Your Information
You may submit a request for a description of the categories of personal information we have collected about you in the previous 12-month period, and a description of how we have used that information. You may submit up to two such requests in any 12-month period.
You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows error.
To protect your privacy and security, we also will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
Notice of Right to Have Data Deleted
You may request that your personal information be deleted. You may share with us any questions or concerns about your personal information. We will not charge or discriminate against you in connection with any such request. You may submit your request by calling 805-584-1213 or by emailing Contact@rovnerconstruction.com. For any such request, include the statement “My Privacy Rights” in your request, as well as your name, street address, city, state, and zip code. You also may submit your request on our website by completing this form.
We may require additional information to verify your identity. We might not delete your personal information, if it is necessary to complete the transaction for which the information was collected, or to protect the security of our website and the information we collect, or to comply with a legal obligation, or if your information will be used solely for internal purposes connected with your relationship with us.
Arbitration of All Disputes, Waiver of Right to Assert Representative Claims
Any dispute arising from or relating to this policy or to your use of our website shall be submitted to binding arbitration before a private arbitrator, rather than asserted in a court action. You recognize that you are waiving your right to file a lawsuit and waiving your right to a jury trial. The arbitration shall be conducted before the Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Service (JAMS). You may commence an arbitration proceeding through their website, https://www.jamsadr.com or call 800-352-5267. The JAMS Streamlined Arbitration Rules & Procedures then in effect shall apply to the proceedings. Those rules are available on the JAMS website.
You further agree that you will not assert any class action or other representative claims arising from or relating to your use of our website. The waiver of class or other representative claims shall not apply, where a waiver of this type is prohibited by law.
